THE Undertones will be rolling back the years when they play Inside/Out in Darlington on December 2.
Celebrating their 35th anniversary, the Derry band have gone out on the road again after a successful tour earlier this year.
The Undertones first took to the stage in February 1976 at St Mary’s Scout Hall in their home town, but went on to garner fame in the UK, Europe and America.
The band is also looking to reaquaint themselves with members of their former fan club, ‘the Rocking Humdingers’ and have put out a missing persons search.
Band member Mickey Bradley said: “We recently came across the original membership book from 1982 containing the names of the Rocking Humdingers and thought it would be great to see them again.
“The response in April was great and as some members could not make the shows we hope they will be able to this time.”
The first 50 fans will get free entry into the show of their choice, a copy of The Very Best of the Undetones and a tour T-shirt. It does not apply to those who came along earlier this year. For more details email andy@theundertones.com.
The band is set to release digitally their two most recent CDs in December, 2003’s Get What You Need and 2007’s Dig Yourself Deep.
