This 2CD digipack presents guitarist Nigel Price in two different formats.
Disc 1 features his organ trio with Pete Whittaker on the Hammond A100 and Matt Homes drums, plus guests Alex Garnett on tenor and baritone saxes and Snowball on congas.
They work through a series of “heads”, new melodies largely by Price, based on familiar standards. On disc 2 he plays the original tunes as double-tracked guitar duos.
Good playing all round with Price and Garnett in particularly good form.
