BEING labelled as “the next Stieg Larsson” doesn’t seem to have had any negative effect on Nesbo and The Leopard once again proves his undoubted talents for crime fiction with a Scandinavian setting.
Using the weather to best effect, he twists and turns the hero, Harry Hole, through one agony after another – both real and imagined.
His use of antiquated torture apparatus and a plot which races around two continents will keep crime fans on the edge of their seats.
