LIKE all good wishbones this is one of two good touring versions of the band formed in 1969 by Martin Turner, Steve Upton, Andy Powell and Ted Turner (no relation to Martin).
Martin Turner launched his version of the band in 2005 and currently has a lineup that includes Danny Willson, Ray Hatfield and Dave Wagstaffe.
This is the 40th anniversary year of Wishbone Ash, names which Martin Turner chose from a list of possibles suggested by original band members.
Releases from the albums like Argus, Pilgrimage and There’s The Rub are celebrated on the current Life Begins tour.
Andy Powell’s version of Wishbone Ash go to York and Newcastle this month.
