ALTHOUGH most bands have a lead singer, there is a special team where songs are led by any one of the four performers.
Little Big Town have been together for just over a decade now, but it was not until 2005 that their second album (on Clint Black’s record label) charted top ten singles in the country charts.
Their third and latest album is a breath of fresh air with some of the best songs, harmonies and group sounds I’ve heard for many a year.
They sound similar to The Eagles, Crosby, Stills and Nash, The Byrds and a host of tight harmony outfits, but also excel in musicianship and production.
This 16-track release is sheer magic and, for me, is one of those contributions to the musical world that makes the hairs on the back of your neck not only stand up, but start to dance.
