Direct from Jamaica, Derrick Morgan, the original Ska and rock steady vocalist pays a rare visit. He’s worked with all the reggae greats like Jimmy Cliff, Desmond Dekker and Bob Marley. He’ll be joined by fellow ska pioneer Owen Gray famous for hits like Millie Girl.

Sunday: The Cluny £15, Freddie MacGregor and Band (Jamaica), The Congos.

When one refers to classic reggae entertainers, Freddie McGregor comes to the forefront. An internationally acclaimed singer, songwriter and producer extraordinaire, McGregor has enjoyed a remarkable 40 years in reggae music. His popularity soared in the early Eighties with the release of Bobby Babylon and other hits include Big Ship, Push Comes To Shove and the lovers’ rock anthem Just Don’t Want To Be Lonely. The Congos are the world’s greatest roots vocal trio, famous for the Lee Perry released Heart of the Congos.
