A FAR from snappy title to this CD, but it gets the point across.
This is, as you might have guessed, not the first Best of..album featuring FNM.
First there was We Care A Lot? The Greatest Hits and that was followed by This Is It – The Best Of Faith No More, therefore begging the question do we really need another one?
After all the band split in 1998 and the well is running pretty dry of tracks you may not have heard already.
It is only when you realise that FNM are planning to turn up at the Leeds Festival on August 30, among other UK dates, that the reason for the new collection becomes clear.
Call me an old cynic, but would money have any part to play in this? The second CD, a collection of B-sides, covers and rare tracks, is where the gems lie, you just have to ask yourself whether these alone are worth the outlay.
