MANY children of a certain age find their parents excruciatingly embarrassing, but few would have to contend with a mother like 13-year-old Jordan’s, who is spending five months buried alive in a box in an attempt to beat a world record.
Naturally, she attracts celebrity-style attention, but Jordan finds it hard to be proud of her and just wants her back at home to mend his broken family.
There’s lots of humour in this highly readable saga. (Age 9+)
