THIS young, enthusiastic indie rock band from Crouch End, in London, are definitely something to watch out for with their own brand of indie pop.
The venue is fairly small and the quartet has most likely played to a lot bigger audience than this before, but the crowd knew exactly who they were and were singing back the lyrics with unbelievable force.
Starting with Open House, the crowded room jittered and surged along to the contagious rhythm. Young they may be, but Bombay Bicycle Club certainly know rock ‘n’ roll style.
The band showed their Strokes influence on How Are You, which really got the crowd moving.
Flying into Sixteen, the small crowd danced themselves into a frenzy. The melodies were confidently infectious and the crowd seemed to be lapping it up. Lead vocalist Jack Steadman seemed totally absorbed, jumping with endless energy around the stage, adding plenty of edge and focus to their performance.
