IT was surely only a matter of time before someone came up with the idea of a magic computer.

Alex’s godfather sends him an old laptop for his birthday.

Of course, pressing the Control button simultaneously with Z undoes the last thing typed. But on Alex’s computer it also undoes all the events that have just happened in his life.

All he has to do is set back the time on the computer to a particular hour and minute and at once it whizzes him back to that very moment.

He’s quick to realise the potential to create all sorts of mischief without getting into trouble, because no one else can remember it happening. (Age 8-11)
