ROCK band The Killers has officially announced they are to postpone their UK and Ireland concert dates – yet again.
The band was due to play at The Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough last June and had rescheduled to play on Thursday June 10, 2021.
The Killers have on Monday confirmed replacement dates for their tour, including the visit to the Riverside Stadium which has been rescheduled for Wednesday June 1 2022.
The UK tour had been due to start in May, with rescheduled dates for all original shows now taking place in May/June 2022 due to the ongoing pandemic.
The tour, the band’s biggest ever, sold out in hours when it first went on sale for dates in 2020, but fans are assured that all tickets held for the original dates will be honoured and are now transferable to the corresponding 2022 show.
The Killers say: “UK and Ireland friends… We’re sorry, but there’s no way around this. These will be the same great shows, but we have to move them to next year. All tickets will be honoured, so we really hope you can still join us!”
The Killers will be joined by Special Guests Manic Street Preachers at the Riverside Stadium on Wednesday June 1 2022.
