BARRY Manilow’s planned appearance on stage in the North-East next month has been postponed and provisionally rescheduled for a late summer date.
The veteran New York crooner was to perform at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena, on Saturday May 30, as part of a seven-date UK 2020 tour.
But, in line with many public events looming on the calendar, it has been cancelled due to the coronavirus crisis.
The entire arena tour has now been rearranged with new concert dates fixed for the same venues in late August and early September.
Manilow Magic is now promised for Newcastle on the sixth night of the tour, on Thursday September 3.
Fans who booked for the original scheduled show have now been asked to hold on to their existing tickets which will automatically be transferred to the new date.
