The unsigned indie band from Brooklyn, New York, actually created this catchy single way back in 2004, when frontman J Stuart was told he had HIV before a second test revealed he was all clear.
But the 18 days of agony for Stuart produced a burst of creativity which includes Hey Now Now.
The underground interest and MP3 downloads that followed led Pepsi to select it as the soundtrack for an advert linked to Barcelona and Brazil star Ronaldinho which was seen this season.
After a three-year struggle for recognition, the band's debut album is due out on October 8.
