Bands just seem to be getting younger and younger these days.

Either way, it's hard to believe Cajun Dance Party have just taken their AS levels at school in north London.

Fresh from the Reading and Leeds festivals, this indie five-piece are releasing their second single, Amylase, and it's pretty impressive.

A catchy and original sounding record which deserves to be a hit.

With backing from former Suede guitarist Bernard Butler, who produced the single, Radio 1 DJs Zane Lowe, Steve Lamacq and Jo Whiley, plus almost 20,000 MySpace friends, it seems the band are well on their way.
