AFTER the 9/11 attack on the US, the seemingly unwinnable ward in Iraq and Afghanistan, nuclear worries over North Korea and China and economic worries over the emerging super economies of China and India, prospects look pretty dim for the west in general.
But fear not, for futurologist Ketan Patel is sure he has the answers to all these ills and more and sees no reason to be doom-laden. Western leaders could do with a wake-up call and this could be it.
