SHAKIL'S funeral is looming (EastEnders, BBC1) but Carmel would rather concentrate her efforts on helping the Square's other teens, including Keegan, who fails to show up to the first night of her youth club.
However, he doesn't want her support, telling her that she's only reaching out to Walford's young people as a distraction and it won't bring Shakil back. He may have a point, but he could have been a lot more tactful about it.
Hayley proves to be more supportive - she even feels guilty about stealing from a grieving mum - but after another run-in with Keegan, Carmel tells Jay to cancel all the tributes as the funeral is only going to be her and Shakil. Kush insists the ceremony should go ahead as planned, but will his mum be there to say goodbye?
Elsewhere, Rainie tells Max they need to make more of an effort to look like a couple, but is she really only pretending to care about him? Donna certainly has reason to believe her reformed addict act is a sham after Rainie plants stolen cigarettes on her stall.

In Emmerdale (ITV), Daz is doing his best Liam Neeson impression this week as he sets out to confront his daughter's kidnapper armed with a spanner.
His particular set of skills are enough to frighten the abductor off, but when Amelia later sneaks out, kidnapper Beth gives chase and tells the youngster about Daz killing her father. So, when Daz later spots them both, what will a conflicted Amelia do?
Whatever her choice, the situation is not looking good for Daz as he's later arrested...
Elsewhere, David and Maya bond over their respective marriage woes - which only get worse when Dr Cavanagh walks in on them just as they are about to share a kiss. And if that wasn't awkward enough, Tracy turns up to try to sort things out with her estranged husband and instead ends up overhearing the row.
Sarah seeks a second opinion, but when the consultant fails to tell her what she wants to hear, she lies about her health so she can go to the school dance.
Marlon and Jessie prepare for their date, and Cain is reluctant to use the garage to buy Ross's silence.
