IF there's one thing the people of Walford really should have learned by now, it's that unless you've seen the body with your own eyes, you should be very wary if someone tells you that a loved one is dead (EastEnders, BBC1). Just ask the relatives of Den Watts, Nick Cotton and Kathy Beale.
Despite this, Stacey is willing to take Mo's word for it that Kat really has gone to the great pub in the sky, and asks the locals to help give her cousin the send-off she deserves. Ian isn't in a generous mood, but the Carters offer to hold the wake in the Vic for free, Jay donates the coffin and Martin, who is surprisingly keen to support his estranged wife, organises a fundraising night.

As he struggles to come to terms with what happened, he pushes everyone away from him and contemplates moving to New Zealand with his dad.
Elsewhere, Fiz finally tells Tyrone that Hope is their naughty child, but not until after he wrecks his relationship with Ruby, Carla grows closer to Ali and Gail begins seeing a psychic.
The Dingles (Emmerdale, ITV) might fight amongst themselves, but in theory they always band together against outsiders - especially ones in uniform.
So, although Zak, Aaron and Belle may be shocked when Liv admits to spiking Lisa's drink this week, they are even more horrified to learn that someone in the family violated the Dingle code and rang the police. The troubled teen later overhears Aaron telling Robert that she could go to prison, and in her despair, she's tempted to drown her sorrows...
