AN UPLIFTING story of human migration told for children will be staged at the Hullabaloo this week.
One Item Only, a play for 7-11 year-olds comes to the theatre on Friday and Saturday.
Bristol-based Greek artist Margarita Sidirokastriti and the egg, a young people's theatre in Bath, present the second show in the spring programme at The Hullabaloo, the specially created venue for children and families located on Darlington’s Borough Road.
In a story about human migration, a young hero has to make a decision on what to take with him and what is left behind.
Inspired by recent events, audiences will get a glimpse of the challenges of his adventurous journey as he travels towards an uncertain but optimistic future.
Laura Case, Executive Director at Theatre Hullabaloo, said: “We are thrilled to have One Item Only at The Hullabaloo.
"The show tells an uplifting story of hope and resilience where the human spirit triumphs that will really connect with audiences.”
Tickets are priced at £7 and £24 for a family ticket.
