FAMILY troubles are at the centre of pretty much everything this week, starting with the Connor clan (Coronation Street, ITV).
Aidan and Carla have their respective procedures, and their father Johnny upsets Jenny by saying he can't possibly leave them to recuperate alone, putting the kybosh on her plans to whisk him away to Spain as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, as Carla plans to hand over the factory to Aidan as a thank you for coming to her aid in her hour of need, it becomes clear that Johnny is having second thoughts about making the move.
Billy's health takes another turn for the worse, so Summer moves in with Eileen. He also discovers that his niece's efforts to help him mean she's falling behind with her school work. As a result, he asks his ne'er-do-well brother Lee to lend a hand - when he's spotted lurking about, David and Josh try to persuade him to stay away.
Meanwhile, Michelle tries to reconnect with Ali, and Phelan gets up to more mischief.
Walford, (EastEnders, BBC1) must be a fairly bleak place to grow up, so no wonder the Square's parents jump at the chance to give their kids a break from the misery by taking them to see children's entertainer Magic Marv at the Community Centre.
Sadly, the show isn't quite as magical as they may have hoped as the performer arrives fresh from a drunken night with Tina, offends the audience and then gets into a row with Martin, who is in a bad mood after Stacey invites Kush to their family day out. In fact, Martin is so upset, he decides to set divorce proceedings in motion, but has he been too hasty?
The entertainer also fails to cheer up Vincent, who discovers that the sale of the Albert has fallen through and later comes to a big decision about his future.
In Carter news, Tina is hurt to realise that Zsa Zsa (remember her?) turned to Shirley when her pregnant friend Georgi needed help, and Mick discovers that the pub's toilets are being used for drug dealing.
Meanwhile, Karen is baffled by Bernadette's newfound passion for playing chess with pensioners.
In Emmerdale (ITV), Phil reveals that he knows Tracy used to work as a prostitute because not only is he one of her former clients but he has the video footage to prove it. If that wasn't sleazy enough, he claims that unless she gives him £1,000, he's going to share the evidence with David.
Tracy can't quite bring herself to pay off her blackmailer, so Phil suggests they come to some other arrangement. But when David suspects his wife is up to something and follows her to a hotel, will the whole sordid truth come out anyway?
Elsewhere, Victoria proves again that she's Emmerdale's champion meddler when she invites Aaron on a girls' night out to a gay bar, knowing full well Robert will be there. However, she doesn't count on Alex turning up too. Meanwhile, Charity, who claimed not to be into commitment, feels strangely jealous when she realises Vanessa has gone to the bar without her.
Ross struggles to come to terms with injuries and vows to find whoever attacked him, much to Debbie's unease, while Sandy makes a final toast to the village. It won't be the same without him.
They say that loose lips sink ships; they certainly look set to capsize various relationships in Neighbours (C5) during the camping holiday from hell.
Steph overhears Jack and Paige discussing their night of passion, and despite Paige begging her not to tell Mark about it, Steph can't help herself - despite knowing how much the news will hurt him, particularly as he's still wounded from Tyler's incarceration.
It certainly puts a dampener on Mark's plans to propose, and while his brothers beg him to find a way to patch things up, Steph goes berserk, venting her anger by vandalising Jack's room at Backpackers - and wrecking her chance of visiting Fiji in the process.
After learning that David is Paul's son, Rafael calls off their date. Eventually, he tells Mishti why he hates the dodgy businessman, and it's a very sad story indeed.
Elsewhere, Amy has a saucy dream about Jordan, and Ben receives surprise gift.
