IT'S all about the kids this week as tragic Ruairi's due date approaches (Coronation Street, ITV); Michelle, as you may expect, finds it difficult to be reminded of her loss.
Steve, meanwhile, sets off in search of Amy as the police move in on Ken's attacker. Later, Michelle is horrified to learn that he took Oliver to the beach where they scattered their son's ashes on the day he was supposed to be born.
But there's worse to come when Leanne has to rush her baby to hospital after discovering he is barely conscious. She orders Nick to inform Steve, but Nick's jealousy rears its ugly head once again - it's clear he isn't coping with their domestic arrangements.
Meanwhile, as Toyah desperately hopes her IVF treatment has been a success, Sally grows increasingly concerned for Gina, and asks her to move in with her family - a move she may live to regret - and Shona considers telling David the truth after Clayton is injured in prison.
Over at the Vic (EastEnders, BBC1), the atmosphere is tense at the Vic as the Carters wait for news on Lady Di, so Woody tries to cheer everyone up by throwing a birthday party for Ollie - well, both his parents are mysteriously indisposed right now, so someone has to do it.
Whitney isn't really in a party mood, especially after receiving a visit from Lee's friend Moose, but agrees to pick the birthday boy up anyway - and is surprised when Woody insists on coming with her. During the journey, she finds herself opening up to him and is grateful for his words of support, but does she want more from him than just a shoulder to cry on?
Elsewhere, Lauren is worried about making a good first impression at her new job, but Steven clearly thinks she should have other priorities when he turns up to the office with Louis.
Kim and Sharon both try to find out what is going on with Denise, and Stacey encourages Martin to talk to Michelle. Meanwhile, Abi does what so many other people in a flatshare have done before her, and resorts to labelling all her stuff.
In Emmerdale (ITV) Dan missed an opportunity to become Soapland's answer to Tom Hardy when he failed to stop the robbery at the shop, and he doesn't cover himself in glory this week either when it emerges he withdrew his statement after the thugs threatened Amelia.
So Josh and Jamie are once again free to menace the locals, leaving Pollard increasingly on edge. The situation gets so bad that when Tracy calls round to check on him, her father-in-law mistakes her for an intruder and swings a cricket bat at her.
Elsewhere, Adam is worried his criminal record has scuppered his chances of adopting and tells Moira that there's something else weighing on his mind - his kiss with Vanessa. His mum advises him to either forget about it or come clean to Victoria, but there might be a third option after Emma learns of his indiscretion...
A fragile and traumatised Rhona returns from honeymoon and admits to Paddy that her marriage is over - but will she tell anyone about what happened on her wedding night?
Meanwhile, Samson plays Cupid, Megan tries to throw a spanner in Jai and Nell's relationship and Carly has a blast from the past.
New characters usually have to make their mark in some fashion, so it should come as no surprise to see Shane and Dipi's eldest daughter getting up to mischief this week in Neighbours (C5).
Dipi tries to pull her teenage offspring into line, but it's too late - the deed has been done. Mark's investigation into her behaviour leads to a number of questions, and Yashvi's answers leave him somewhat perplexed. She certainly seems capable of running rings around adults, because Uncle Toadie is the next person to be left bewildered by her behaviour - she also lands him in big trouble.
Mark, meanwhile, is soon distracted by Sonya. Although he and Steph find out something shocking about her, his instinct is to protect her, despite what her behaviour may mean for Nell.
Tyler thinks he knows who was responsible for the incident at the Backpackers, but needs the evidence to prove it, and David thinks that Aaron has betrayed him.
