IT would appear 2014 is going to belong to this UK male solo artist. Paolo Nutini has made a triumphant return, Ed Sheeran has moved to the next level and Sam Smith has become a household name following his stunning debut.
Enter George Ezra. Although not as instantly recognisable as the aforementioned big-hitters, he’s certainly got the individuality in his voice to join them. Lead single Budapest has been around for a while but is only now making a dent on the charts. Opener Blame It On Me and Stand By Your Gun are instantly likeable, closer Spectacular Rival is epic while bluesy tracks such as Listen To The Man are real growers.
