THE quirky collaboration between DJs Armand van Helden and A-Trak has been on the go since 2009, occasionally surfacing with a hilarious offering backed by a viral sensation of a video.
Chief among these is, of course, Barbra Streisand, featured here along with fellow YouTube favourites NRG and Big Bad Wolf. This debut album brings together a self-proclaimed “electro-chemical fusion of technofunky vinyl scratching” linked by spoken word segues. It may be silly, disposable fun, but it’s fun nonetheless. And it will, as it claims, “make (your) tail-feathers shake”.
