CAST in a similar mould to Mamma Mia!, this is a feel-good summer musical that brings together colourful characters for a wedding to a soundtrack of some of the greatest hits of the 1980s including Don’t You Want Me by The Human League, Faith by George Michael and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper.
Maddie (Annabel Scholey) enjoys a whirlwind romance with a handsome beau called Raphael (Giulio Berruti). She invites her sister Taylor (Hannah Arterton) to Italy to break the news about the impending nuptials only to discover Raf is her ex-boyfriend. Maddie’s old flame Doug (Greg Wise) attempts to scupper the wedding and good friends Elena (Leona Lewis) and Lil (Katy Brand) ensure every setback is greeted with another bouncy track.
