EMERGING in 2002, David Nail debuted his Memphis single from an unreleased album on the Mercury label, later signing to MCA Nashville. It was not until 2009 that his album I’m About To Come Alive gained acclaim with three single releases taken from it.
The title track along with Red Light and Turning Home gained him chart places in the Top Twenty.
His second studio album, released in 2011 and called The Sound Of A Million Dreams, gave him his first number one with a song called Let It Rain.
His third album has already seen another number one placing for the single Whatever She’s Got, with a second release, Kiss You Tonight, currently in the top 40 of the Country Airplay Charts.
“There are so many moments on this record that make me think about the past four years that I’ve been married, and I’m A Fire just sums it all up,” Nail says.
It’s good to see special guests Little Big Town featured on the track When They’re Gone (Lyle County) and Lee Ann Womack duetting with David on Glen Campbell’s classic Galveston.
I’m sure there’s a couple of number ones standing in the wings on this release and if you fancy a taster, the CD features as Album Of The Week from Saturday on the American Connection Country Show on americanconnection.euvue.co.uk
