IN 2010, Pardi toured as an opening act for Dirks Bentley, who records on the same record label.
It was through these appearances that Pardi was signed and, in March 2012, he released his debut single Missin’ You Crazy.
His second single Up All Night, released the same month, became his first Top Ten hit, and his followup release What I Can’t Put Down also gave him chart success.
All three singles, along with eight more cuts, are found on his debut album, Write You A Song, which is now released in Britain.
The album is an eclectic mix of honky tonk and party style songs mixed with love and romantic offerings.
Leaning on the beat side, there are some great up-tempo modern songs with a mix of traditional country sounds.
For an artist who has paid his dues in his early days in California, it seems like Nashville has now brought all of Pardi’s hard work to fruition.
It’s an excellent debut offering from an artists we’re bound to hear a lot more of in the future.
