NEIL Sedaka, above, Grammy award singersongwriter and international hit-maker is touring the UK this year with seven dates – including York and Gateshead.

For more than 50 years Sedaka has written, performed, produced and inspired countless songs, including Is This The Way To Amarillo, Oh Carol and Calendar Girl.

His songs have also been hits for the likes of Tony Christie, Andy Williams, Elvis Presley, Connie Francis and The Carpenters.
