MELOPHOBIA kicks off in style with Spiderhead, bounding along with slightly distorted guitar and vocals.
The brilliant Come A Little Closer takes over and the promise of greatness from the US rockers is clear. There’s much to recommend, such as It’s Just Forever, swinging full of invention and the delightfully weird, sometimes punk-feel, of Teeth. There’s a feeling that Cage The Elephant haven’t quite nailed it with their third album, but be patient, they definitely have it in them to break through soon in a big way.
