THE New Zealand veteran returns with his third solo album and his first since 2001.
The title track, with Finn’s vocals uncannily reminiscent of Pet Shop Boys frontman Neil Tennant, is one of many about aspiring to – or falling from – heights. Divebomber is particularly dramatic, while White Lies And Alibis applies the analogy to the prison-bound dreams of the West Memphis Three, who were released after wrongful conviction for murder.
