This is a relaxed, but beautifully played album recorded privately in George Shearing’s own home in 1983 and never previously issued.
They’re mainly duets with bass player Don Thompson who provides perfect accompaniment and support on tunes as varied as Confirmation and The Skye Boat Song, and there are also four exquisite piano solos including Beautiful Love and Laura.
