RECORDED on tour, this is the kind of music I imagine I’d listen to with a good book and a bottle of wine if I didn’t have three kids charging around the whole time.
It’s the perfect wind-down, lights dimmed, music by someone with an obvious mastery of his instrument. If it wasn’t for the applause at the end of each track, you would struggle to believe it was live, such is the clarity of the music. If this is what alternative jazz sounds like, then I want to hear more.
