A FREE seminar will be held next week to help guide companies through new employment legislation which is coming into force next month.
North-East law firm Samuel Phillips is inviting employers and human resources professionals to a two-hour seminar on Thursday, September 27.
During the seminar, managing partner Robert Gibson will highlight the changes coming into force at the beginning of October, while employment law specialist James English will review the most important recent changes.
They will be joined by independent financial advisor Chris Booth, who will provide an overview of the auto-enrolment provisions for pensions.
Mr Gibson said: "One of the most important changes this October will affect larger companies who must start enrolling eligible employees into a workplace pension scheme.
"However, recent and future changes to employment law are also important to smaller companies. This seminar is an opportunity to ensure you are up to date, and can get answers to any queries you might have."
The event starts at 8am in the Olivier Suite at the Theatre Royal, Newcastle.
