FIVE employees at a North- East law firm are seeing the results of their hard work after passing vocational and professional qualifications.

Debbie Cummin, Stefanie Fawcett, Bajinder Gadi, Louise Ottaway and Vicky Richardson, from Gordon Brown Law Firm, have completed NVQ qualifications and other legal training.

Ms Gadi, 29, who is based at Gordon Brown’s Chester-le- Street office, joined Gordon Brown’s growing residential conveyancing team last year and is now a qualified legal executive.

Ms Gadi is a law graduate of Sunderland University and completed a legal practice course at Northumbria University, before joining the firm and completing her Chartered Institute of Legal Executives training.

She said: “I’ve loved working at the firm since I joined last year. We have a strong team in residential conveyancing and my colleagues have been very supportive throughout the course.”

Ms Cummin, who also works in residential conveyancing, and Ms Fawcett, a member of Gordon Brown’s wealth management team, have completed NVQ paralegal qualifications.

Ms Richardson and Ms Ottaway both worked with the North East Chamber of Commerce to complete their training, gaining NVQ level three awards in management and team leadership.
