FREE clinics to help farmers fill in their Nitrate Vulnerable Zone paperwork are being held. They have been organised by Tyne Tees Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group and the Environment Agency.
The venues include Kirkley Hall, Ponteland, tomorrow; The Greenhouse, Annfield Plain, County Durham, on Thursday; and Cedderfield Hall, Rectory Row, Sedgefield, on Monday, November 2.
All are between 9.30am and 4.30pm. Places must be booked on 01833-696-634 or email tynetees@fwag.org.uk
■ A farm walk on how to prepare a muck spreading risk map will be held at Landieu Farm, Frosterley, County Durham, on Wednesday, November 11, from 1pm to 3pm.
