NORTH-EAST lawyers have advised on the management buyout of two oil and gas businesses.
A team from Bond Dickinson’s Newcastle offices helped NVM Private Equity on its investment in Aberdeen’s Arnlea and Nexus AB.
Bosses say NVM provided £5m to support a management buyout and fund product development and international expansion.
Arnlea delivers mobile technology to help with equipment and materials tracking, with Nexus providing technical inspection services.
Bond Dickinson’s team, which included members of its Aberdeen office, featured lawyers from its corporate, finance, real estate, tax and commercial divisions.
The acquisition of Arnlea was led by corporate director Iain Pritty, with partner Jamie Pass advising NVM on funding and investment terms.
Mr Pritty said: “We are delighted to have supported NVM and the management team, and look forward to helping them as Arnlea’s business develops in the years ahead.
“This transaction demonstrates how our corporate and private equity experience, our national footprint, and our deep knowledge of the oilfield services sector, can assist clients.”
