A HEALTHCARE provider is expanding with support from a law firm.
Heritage Healthcare is launching a national franchise network after help from Darlington-based Latimer Hinks.
The company has also extended its presence in Yorkshire through the acquisition of an office in York.
Heritage has a 25-strong workforce delivering care to more than 60 clients in York and its surrounding area, and has plans to increase that in the next 12 months.
Advice came from Latimer’s Nick Poole and Nicola Neilson, who are partners in the firm’s commercial department.
Mr Poole said: “I was delighted to advise a fellow Darlington firm on setting up its national franchise network.
“The launch will help to spread the company’s name and significant reputation for high quality home care at a national level.”
Glenn Pickersgill, Heritage Healthcare’s managing director, added: “Latimer Hinks provided excellent advice on both occasions and helped guide us through a myriad of issues to make these significant investments.
“The new premises suit our needs much better, particularly as the York business grows.
“These allow us full control over our operation, including phone systems, broadband and services, which is important as we take on more staff and clients.”
