MINCOFF Solicitors is celebrating its 65th anniversary this year and continues to bolster its team.
Ryan Bannon joins as partner and head of the commercial property department, having previously held leading positions with two prominent North-East law firms.
Ryan, a Cambridge University graduate from South Shields, trained at Gouldens in the City of London. He has extensive experience in the full range of commercial property transactions, including some of the largest property development schemes within the region.
He acts primarily for developers, but is equally comfortable acting on behalf of local authorities and other land owners.
“I am really excited to be joining Mincoffs Solicitors; a firm renowned for their expertise and high quality client service. I look forward to developing our already strong commercial property team and playing a part in its continued success.”
This appointment is part of an aggressive recruitment drive by Newcastle-based Mincoffs, which has already benefitted from the addition of Lyn Rutherford and Emily Frankish to their family law team in September 2012 and Stewart Irvine as head of contentious services in February 2013.
Andy Woodhouse, chief executive, said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Ryan to the team. As a highly skilled and experienced commercial property expert, he will add another dimension to our commercial property department and has a fantastic can-do attitude.”
