HEWITTS Solicitors is hosting a free programme of training events for business owners to enable them to stay abreast of legal developments directly affecting them.
The events are being held in the purpose built training facility at Hewitts Solicitors' offices at Newgate Street, Bishop Auckland.
The latest event is at 9.00am on Friday June 7 and is called "Contracts of Employment - Why They Matter".
The aim of the session is to provide a guide
to drafting robust employment contracts and policies. The subject is a direct result of feedback from a previous training event on disciplinary procedures and dismissal.
The session would be of particular interest to Directors, Managers and HR practitioners.
Callum Terry, Partner and Head of Litigation at Hewitts Solicitors said: "The aim of these events is to provide useful, practical information in a digestible format for local businesses. If business owners are armed with
the knowledge to put procedures and policies in place at the outset it will help prevent matters going wrong in the future".
The sessions are part of an ongoing programme of events run by Hewitts Solicitors and the intention is to cover a wide range of issues which business owners find time consuming to deal with.
Anyone interested in attending the event on June 7 can book a place by contacting callumterry@hewitts.co.uk or calling Hewitts on 01388 762 466.
