BUSINESSES in the region are being urged to enter this year's National Recycling Awards.
Now in their eighth year, the awards, organised by Materials Recycling Week, are open to any organisation, community group or company that plays a part in the recycling process.
In all, 13 categories are available, covering the period between January 1 last year and August 25 this year.
Entry details can be found on www.nationalrecyclingawards.com and the closing date is August 25.
The entries will be judged in September by a panel of industry professionals, including Lee Marshall, chairman of the Local Authority Recycling Advisory Committee.
Winners will be presented with their awards in Bournemouth on November 15.
