Darlington’S Lingfield Point has become one of the first business parks in the North-East to launch a dedicated business advice service for its customers.

In conjunction with the North East Chamber of Commerce, Business Link and Darlington Borough Council’s business engagement unit, quarterly business surgeries are being held on site to offer support and guidance.

The next surgery is planned for January 26.

Eddie Humphries, Lingfield Point estate manager, said: “Lingfield Point has space available which is ideal for start-up and smaller businesses.

“This is an important initiative for organisations like these and we are pleased to bring together three prestigious partners to work with us. We take time to understand our customers’ needs and react to what they tell us.

“Lingfield Point is much more than just somewhere to locate a business – and this is one of a number of new initiatives we are planning to benefit our customers and the wider business community.

“There is a lot of information and assistance available to businesses.

We are bringing together the resources of three of the major organisations in this field and making them readily available to our customers.”
