PARCEL delivery company Interlink Express has taken 8,500sqft of industrial space at Gladedale Capital and Yorvale Developments’ Saturn Court at North Tyneside’s Orion Business Park.
King Stuge, joint agents with GVA Grimley, let units 2 and 3 Saturn Court to Interlink on a ten-year lease on behalf of the developer.
Interlink is relocating from North Tyne Industrial Estate and manager Richard Durham said: “The units at Saturn Court will provide us with more space for our expanding depot.”
Orion Business Park is located at the junction of the A19 and the A1058 Coast Road and consists of 11 highspecification units ranging from 3,500 sq ft to 5,000 sq ft and available to buy or let.
The scheme follows Gladedale / Yorvale’s successful Neptune Court development, which offers a similar range of units and is now 80% occupied.
The developments have attracted a number of small-tomedium sized North Tyneside businesses including Orion Cash & Carry, PW Kitchens, Rockbit Ltd, Parmley Technologies and PPD Digital Print.
Martin Smith, development director at Gladedale Capital, said: “Orion Business Park has undergone substantial change over the last five years and we are pleased to have played such a key role in creating modern, functional accommodation which is helping bring new jobs to the area.”
