CHARTERED accountant The Barker Partnership has announced the appointment of Bill Pearson as a partner in its office in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. He joined the firm as a trainee and qualified in 1995.
He specialised in corporate and audit engagements until his promotion to associate in 2002.
Mr Pearson has developed a portfolio of clients and gained considerable experience.
Senior partner Philip Triffitt said: "We are delighted Bill has accepted our offer of partnership.
"I know he will make an important contribution to our continued business."
Mr Pearson's appointment follows the retirement of Terry Barker from the practice, which has offices in Leyburn, Ripon, and two in Thirsk.
