A new industrial scheme at Thirsk in North Yorkshire has just been completed and is set to act as a catalyst for attracting further new business into the area, according to Savills.
Savills advised on the sale of the Europark development, on Station Road, and will advise on the letting of the scheme, which comprises seven warehouse units including six, 2,000 sq ft (186 sq m) units and one, 16,000 sq ft (1,486 sq m) warehouse which, if required, can be divided into two separate units of 8,000 sq ft (743 sq m) each.
Rents at Europark have been set at £65 per sq m for the smaller units, and £54 per sq m for the larger warehouse.
Matthew Tootell, associate director of Savills, pictured above, said: "The warehouses will be a magnet for businesses as there is a limited supply of this type of accommodation in the area. They are of a high specification and will be an appealing proposition for a wide range of businesses."
