UK Land Estates and Buildings for Business have completed work on two hybrid unit developments within the same week.
West Quay Court, on Sunderland Enterprise Park, and Boldon Court, on Boldon Business Park, offer 50:50 office/workshop space at two excellent locations.
Boldon Court, a 37,539 sq ft scheme, offers nine new high-tech units ranging in size from 3,317 sq ft up to 5,502 sq ft. Already two units are under offer with solicitors instructed.
Boldon is strategically located close to the junction of the A19 at its junction with Newcastle Road (the A184) approximately six miles east of Newcastle and five miles north-west of Sunderland.
West Quay Court, a 24,366 sq ft scheme adjacent to the former MTK building at Sunderland Enterprise Park, offers seven of the same type of units bringing 100 potential jobs to the region.
They range in size from 3,317 sq ft up to 4,464 sq ft and offer a total of 60 shared car-parking spaces.
The development is in a prominent position close to the Queen Alexander Bridge, overlooking the River Wear, two miles west of Sunderland city centre. It benefits from excellent transportation links located adjacent to Wessington Way and the nearby A19.
These developments are aimed at companies requiring a combination of both high-quality office and industrial accommodation which is based on two floors, with the ground floor providing predominantly workshop/assembly accommodation, which can easily be converted into other uses such as laboratory space.
