A PORT operator is helping youngsters’ improve their creativity.
PD Ports, which oversees Teesport, has donated £250 to Hartburn Primary School, in Stockton.
The gesture, made through its staff support scheme, meant the school could buy wooden building blocks for an outdoor play area.
Bosses say they will be used by early years’ children, which includes nursery and reception ages, to improve their moving and handling skills and increase creativity.
Kirsten Donkin, PD Ports’ PR and communications manager, said: “Getting industry and education engaged on any level is encouraging.
“Having awareness of what goes on beyond the school gates in terms of business and life skills is important from an early age and is of great importance to our business.”
