THE North York Moors National Park Authority is creating an IT apprenticeship.
The two-year scheme will be based at its headquarters in Helmsley, North Yorkshire.
Bosses say the role is for anyone aged between 16 and 24-years-old.
It will include time at York College to work towards level two and three qualifications in IT professional competence.
The position will take the authority’s number of apprentices to 16.
Simon Baum, National Park IT manager, said: “IT is now such a big part of everyone’s life that skills in this area are needed in just about every organisation going.
“Our apprenticeship offers the chance to gain valuable work experience and training in a friendly and experienced team.”
The closing date for applications is Friday, July 4.
