A NORTH Yorkshire company is introducing its range of sliced cheeses in a supermarket chain.
The Wensleydale Creamery has seen its newly developed range of four sliced, blended pre-packed cheeses hit shelves in Morrisons, to capitalise on the emerging market within the cheese sector.
Valued at £143m, the sliced cheese market has seen encouraging growth in the past few years, growing faster than the total cheese category.
Over the past year, natural cheddar slices have been gaining market share at the expense of processed sliced cheese.
