ACCOUNTANCY practice Evolution LLP has expanded its team with the addition of three members of staff to help drive growth.

The firm, with offices in Wynyard and Hartlepool, has added Michael Stringer and Jessica Smith to its accounts team, with Helen Wright joining them as an administration assistant.

The appointments come less than a month after the firm enlisted Kevin Howes as its new senior manager to drive its ongoing growth.

Mr Stringer is a part-qualified Association of Accounting Technician practitioner from Stockton, while Ms Wright has returned to her native Teesside to take up her post.

Ms Smith, who has been recruited as a trainee accountant, comes to Evolution with a background in science, having achieved a chemistry degree at Newcastle University before undertaking her three years of accountancy training with Evolution.

The three new recruits will work with Kevin Howes, who last month rejoined the firm where he worked for three years after pursuing a successful career as an entrepreneur.

Managing partner Martin Barber said: “We believe new personalities always bring different dimensions to a burgeoning practice.

“The organic growth of Evolution illustrates the success of the firm. The new recruits will bring new resources to the business, allowing it to grow and develop further.”
