ONE of the region’s local enterprise partnerships has revealed the names of the business leaders who have been appointed to its board.
A panel led by Barry Dodd, chairman of York and North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership, selected the following applicants who will help to lead the region’s economic recovery: Neil Warman, deputy chief executive HML (subsidiary of Skipton Building Society); David Bruce, business services director Nestle UK; Shaun Watts, managing director Chameleon Business Interiors; Nigel Pulling, chief executive Yorkshire Agricultural Society; David Kerfoot, chief executive The Kerfoot Group; Dr Ruth Smith, chief executive PM Management Consultants Ltd; Robert Miller, managing director Bluebird Vehicles Ltd and Professor Colin Mellors, pro-vice chancellor, University of York.
A representative from the tourism sector is also being sought.
The private sector members will be joined on the board by six council leaders.
