A TRAINING firm has been acquired by a rival business.
High Force Training (HFT), based in Darlington, has been bought by Simon Williamson, who also runs North-Eastbased leadership development company Boardroom Consulting.
HFT, established in 1989 and employing four people, offers teambuilding events and business coaching, primarily to small and medium-sized firms. Mr Williamson is aiming to build the firm, with a turnover of £60,000, into a national brand.
He believes HFT will complement the work of Boardroom Consulting, which is focused on leadership training, whereas HFT is centred on team development.
Mr Williamson said: “Acquiring HFT has given me a great opportunity to rebuild a business back to its former glory and beyond.
“I am now looking to develop our position as a market leader of emotional intelligence coaching nationally.”
