HOME improvement business Court Homemakers has opened a showroom in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, creating five jobs.
The showroom is in a two-storey building that was previously the old station house.
The firm, founded in Stockton by Ian and Ann Goodwillie, was sold last year to three of its former senior managers – Paul Davies, Paul Henderson and Chris Walker.
It recently installed a £13,000 kitchen free of charge for adults with physical and learning difficulties who attend the Teesside Ability Support Centre, in Acklam Road, Middlesbrough.
Mr Davies said: “We are always keen to hear from charitable and voluntary groups who might need a little support or help in updating their facilities.
“Our network of suppliers has proved generous in helping us to make life easier or safer for deserving causes and it is something we are keen to continue.”
